Been finding some slugs, the one long one is copper jacketed and really set off the outlaw the bullet hit somthing as its deformed and dented, I could see the hunter thear up on the hill taking out some tobacco from his can and rolling a cig and waiting for the deer to come by , Its also snowing today our 1st snow , and soon the grand will freeze and for the 1st time in 6 years i will have not found one siver coin , no not even a wheat cent no ring its been the worst year so far , it has no reflection on the outlaw , as the reason is I just cant get out , like I used to so I have had to settle for the poor farmers woods , and i swear not one hunter lost a silver coin in all of this woods so far I am just amazed , gone are the days when i got in my car , a road worthy one and went into milaca or princeton or cambridge or Isanti or st francis it was then when i had the ability to go i found things I am in a season of barrenness as i have never known the woods seems to repeat itself like a skipping record 22 shell skipp bullet skip 22 shell skip shot shell skip fence nail skip slug skip 22 bullet skip shot shell but its better than nothing

I think you have done well in the area you have been hunting, you have found a lot of history and you know your machine very well. I am in the same boat, I enjoy hunting in the woods and my finds are similar. I think the realtor phrase, location, location, location applies to metal detecting as well. That cold and snow is headed my way, just saw the first truck with their plow on today. I am not ready, nor looking forward to winter.

Wow Gunnar you had your first snow? I hope you have been cutting and piling up the wood. Brrr I agree with Scanman - you have made a lot of neat relic finds including the ones in this photo. You just have to get that coil over the coin bro. It is out there you just have to keep scanning. Hang in there - Jim

Oh boy snow!:) Gunnar I hope you do some detecting videos in the snow. That area where you live is so beautiful.

I bet those lead bullets did hit hard.

Some more neat finds Gunnar. Your putting in the time so you'll swing over a coin in that's woods soon.

:chase:Gunnar,

Those are some mighty big bullets, must be some big animals or grizzly bears in your neck of the woods

I hope to get back out before it freezes, caw dawn it , and do another video production.
