I won't go into too much detail as my left hand isn't working and I'm having to type with only one finger. Last three outings were on the slim side, but getting out is half the fun. My coins were in the wheaties: 1-1923, 2-30's, 1-37, 1-39, 2-41's, 1-44, 1-45, 2-49's, 1-50, 2-51's, 1-52, 3-53's, 1-57, 1-58 and a 19??.Nickles were a 1918 buff, 1945 war nickle and a 1911 V nickle. Dimes were 1941, 43 and 45 mercs, 49 and 50 rosies and two Canadians 1943 and 44. My Barber quarter was 1898 and the worst looking one that I have found. It looks like it was hit with a sandblaster!! You will notice that the V-nickle has a rounded shaded area on the face. I found the Barber quarter and that nickle not too far from each other and I'm wondering if maybe that quarter was lying on top of that nickle and maybe in an old coin purse or something? That nickle had to have been in something as I have never dug a V-nickle in that good of condition. This area has been cleared off for some new military housing units coming in and I have gotten three other Barber coins from there. Use to be nothing but chicken farms all over this place years ago before the Navy bought up all that property. I better get back there before it's all buried, but we are getting lot's of rain now. I guess that is good, but it's not much fun detecting in the rain. My jewelry were two silver rings, a man's 14kt gold wedding band and a 14kt chain and fish tail. Thanks for looking and best of luck to all on your next outing. HH.
