I got out last weekend & yesterday to some of my union Gettysburg spots. I wasn't skunked. The ground is very dry. I could hardly dig last weekend. Yesterday I hunted in the woods & it wasn't as bad.

Our dirt down here is already sandy, but now it is pure dust. You dig a hole and it fills itself back up. I managed to find one eagle button , but it was falling apart as I pulled it out of the hole. Not even worth taking a picture of.
 
You are tearing it up! Looking forward to seeing you in about a month bud. Still waiting on beans to be combined at my spots in Mo. Started raining here and nobody’s getting the crops out right now

That sucks buddy. The last couple Yankee buttons I've dug have fell apart in my hand also. Bummer.
