My largest pocket spill ever

I went to a small park yesterday that had a creek running through it and several playgrounds. I have hunted it off and on and it just hasn't been one that seems to produce. I decided to hunt a small area near the entrance I had never hunted before. I was using my Deus and got a promising tid of 94-96 and suspected maybe a couple of quarters together. What I found was about 3" down was a fist size area filled with coins. The total was 21 qtrs, 8 dimes, 9 nickels and 10 pennies. Pretty much decided I wasn't going to do any better than that based on past hunts there, so took off with a huge smile. What a shocker, seems like there should have been evidence of some sort of container there. Puzzling that someone lost so much change in that small space and not been aware of it.

Some kids "Buried Treasure"?? Whatever, sweet find! Love finding multiple coin spills!

Well done on a unusual find, could be worth going over the same area again as one can never tell what else may turn up,what era have the coins been dated from ??

Just modern day clad, nothing unusual darn it. But if money could talk me might have a story of interest.

Wow,I would think that someone buried all those coins, there might be more buried treasures. This is a " honey hole"of modern coins--------------------after1----------GH-------
