My Larger Sov Coils Never Saw It!

I haven't used my Small 5" coil at my house w/ my Sov. Used 8" or 10" coils. Anyway, Can you believe it? I Put on the 5" garbage coil and bagged a 1942 Lincoln at around 6 inches, sitting in an iron null field 10 feet from my test garden. My larger coils never saw it. The reading was unmistakable. Need to redo the yard with the 5" SLOWLY! Awesome coil.

I just got a 5 incher that I'm going to take to a site that i've been hitting pretty hard with the 8 and 10 inch coils. The yard is full of iron so i'm anxious to see what the new coil will do. Hopefully i'll find some of the silver that has been eluding me.:detecting:

try turning the sens all the way down on your 8" coil, it will still get deep and does very well in trashy areas.

new to detecting, my ? is whats the difference between a 10" to a 8" coil. Weight and detecting performance?
