is there a way to see the exact boundries of the mining claims so i can see where i can or cannot go, thanks for any help
 
You need to go to the county recorder web site and pull up the claim maps to see the exact boundries. If the county doesn't put that information on line, then you need to go in person to the recorders office.
 
Depending on how your Recorder's office indexes them, that may be a chore......

Here in Siskiyou County, CA., they are listed by claim name or claimants name. You have to look at every claim to see where it is.

I check lr 2000 first then check the last 90 days of recordings at Recorder's office.
