Looks like I got on the silver and large cent train the last couple of days. Nice to get a fish scale. First one so far this year. And it came out of the ground with a little ding on the side. I guess us diggers can't be too choosy.

Below are the best of the best!

Nice finds. What coin is it that you call a "fish scale" ? I am not familiar with the term. I found a 1859 Canadian large cent last year ,my first year detecting , here in Michigan.
The bell is cool. I've only found pieces of them .

Good on the 1859 large cent. Fishscales are the small silver 5 cent pieces, smaller and thinner then a dime, that were in circulation 1858 - 1921.

That 1859 coin in very fine condition would fetch you over $120.00. If it was of the brass variety (rare) it would fetch you a very fine condition of $30,000.00. Better get yours checked. :)
