My Killer Kitty!!!:super:

I have a live trap in my basement and caught a mouse this morning. You would think with the amazing killer instincts of my cat that there would not be a mouse in the neighborhood but this mouse proved that idea wrong.

I took it out back to turn it loose and thought, "Why not let the killer have it?" I called the cat and dumped the mouse on the lawn. The cat went after it but was not sure what the hell do do with it. The mouse ran and somewhere in that little cat brain something must have triggered the "Mouse run, cat run after it" thingie. Off they went and I was laughing my azz off. Then I thought_CAMERA- and off to the house I ran. Since I was on the deck I found the house just fine and burst in, just knowing I was gonna be too late and grabbed the vid camera. I need not worry. That mouse had a long time to live it turned out.

You will see the little bastud had him a couple times over by the stump but it was not to last. Live is never dull for long if a person will just keep their eyes open. Especially if they have a dumbazz kitten.

It is amazing how you are training that cat. and refreshing seeing the bond forming between the two of you! Kelley (Texas) :)

three out of the four seasons anyway.

Tell me, does the tip of that cats tail reach the bottom wire on the electric fence? Rainy days could be a problem for her:yikes:

We have a new one here that a lady gave us. She said, it was a good mouser. It was laying down in the tack room. We watched a mouse run right over its belly while it was laying on its back, it did nothing..... One we called Tootsie was right there, she showed her how its done..... They are fun to watch play around for sure.....

I would love to get that on video!! Hahahahahah I wish I had had the camera handy when I first released the dang mouse. I was laughing my azz off!!
