It was just a bit windy last night and they were right, the worst hit after midnight. Now it's freezing out and starting to rain, oh boy. Might even snow some they say.

No damage at my house, but plenty of trees down all around town, including a roof from a car dealership that landed in the middle of main st.

All I saw was Limbs down--My two trees took it with out a problem (1 small limb) but a few years ago I lost a limb large enough to be a decent Tree that hit the neighbors house and took out their power But because the house was far enough away NO damage--I had that tree Removed (700$) it was a Maple so I Sold the rest (Cut Up) (for $500)--The whole St. had a row of them planted in 1917 and over the years removed so there is only 1 left now that is my front yard! I have a (Large Black Walnut in the back yard planted around the same time it lost a decent limb---Mike your area seems to get hurt worse cause its closer to the Ocean--All the deaths were up North of me also---When I came home from work I had a limb come down just in front of me that reminded me of a arrow coming straight down--it hit a few feet in front of my Bronco made me nervous the rest of the way home when going under trees

I had a few big limbs come down but they landed in the back yard with no damage. Like you said, some of them would have made decent trees by themselves.

Hope you have a generator to power your appliances until they get the grid back up.

They are a pain to store and maintain but are a life saver when needed.

Good luck.

I recomend running them on a buried propane tank with an automatic switchover switch. Still it's says a million without power . Hard to imagine. Evan
