Here's a couple of places I hunt. The small bits came from the washed out gully. Most of the bush 90+ % is Eucalypt forest's. They are pretty tough trees and probably the best to survive our heat. This coming week is predicted for 6 days ranging from 110 to 120f.

Looks like interesting and rugged area your hunting in,
Just real hot place in gold and temperature.
I would not do well in that heat as I don't care for heat.
Is there any other hazards you have to watch for when your out hunting in this area.
Thank for the great photos.

Nice pics of the countryside!
I could stand to get lost down there for about 2 months:detecting:... Boy the oldtimers sure chucked a lotta good gold.
I just looked at the thermo meter and we are 110-120 dgrees colder than what your High temp will be:cry:

The state of Arizona looks allot like that and some parts of southern California ............pretty country.........but we got Diamond back and sidewinder rattle snakes ............:beers:

This is a joy to me seeing the country of Australia. I've seen it on the TV, but just knowing you took these pics makes it amazingly real. I can see why you guys have those nasty no legged reptiles. I've seen many parts of desserts here in the states and it's quite similar. Try to stay cool and thanks again. Oh and nice nuggets on the coil too! HH, Nancy

Our Eucalypts, gum trees, make the place look nice and green but thats because they are "tough as nuts" trees that are drought resistant. We are in big problems over here where I live water wise. Next year looks as grim as. Just went to buy drinking water before and scored the last 6 containers of the one I use. The other super market has sold out. The water out of our taps is so full of chemicals to kill the toxins that when you shower and get some in your eyes they burn. But hey, some places dont even have that and drink out of puddles of mud so who am I to complain huh!
Have a good one everyone and Hillbilly, wouldnt you love to see a shootout (bite-out) between a Rattler vs King Brown. Just for curiosity sake mind you.
Bit like Alien vs Predator huh!
