My Hip Mount Mod for the Dual Field

I finally had time to change the Dual Field to a hip mount. Don't know why but as it comes, the strap on the back is 90 degrees from what it should be. If you slide a belt through the stock opening, the controls either face forward or backward. I wanted it so I could look down and see the knobs.

Used some scrap plastic, the table saw, and the drill press. It works nicely. Those nice looking screws holding it together are #6 flat head stainless screws sitting in a finish washer also stainless. About $1 worth of parts easily available at most fair sized hardware stores in case you have a need for something like that.

It also gave me a place to put a good strain relief on the coil cable so it doesn't get worked to death coming out of the control box.
