My Headphone Problems with the CTX 3030.....Resolved for now?

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Just to be clear I have the stereo mono plus and it didn't work. I also could not use the wireless with after market headphones either.
Since my machine froze up It was suggested I do a reset of the machine. I did and I now can use the GG and Black Widows with the wireless. I think I have to re do my programs because of the reset? If this keeps happing I will get the unit back to the dealer. I am still going to contact Minelab as If you loose al the data you imput each time, that can be a pain in the butt. Oh then maybe that's why we have the exchange 2 so we can save the data. Minelab already knew we were going to need to re load the sofware after each time freezes up? Ok Sunday I am going out with areal set of headphones to see how they work1. More to come!

I wonder if getting the unit back to the dealer would work. They probably do not want them back and will suggest sending it for repairs. Depends I guess who the dealer is and what policies they go by. Should be interesting to see what happens in the future.

Its working right now, There are no units avaiable anywhere right now. Some dealers have not recieved ther first orders yet. My dealer miss his first order and they send him the last ones. So he can't take it back. I am not one to give up easily. Its working and I am not alone with these problems. I can hold out till it gives up the grey smoke! BCNJ
