My Garrett 1500 found the majority of these. Counted all my Canadian clad tonite, except for the pennies. I still have 98 silver coins, my pennies and my US coins to count.
Works out to be $352.40 so far.

hhmmmm Do I smell another gold coin coming your way John? That is one nice haul!! But you have a unfair advantage up there....those loonies and toonies really help out. We dont (well at least I dont) find to many of our $1.00 coins down here. Maybe they dont get used all that much or something. But again I must say WTG great job my friend and if I know you that white stuff wont slow you down to much for now

Nice haul indeed 1 and 2 dollar coins add up quicker than US quarters. I can understand as when my daughter had lasik surgery on her eyes ( about 1/4 US price) found myself with Loonies and Twoonies in my pocket in no time so indeed am sure many are lost..Yep her eyes came out excellent..

You'll still find coins in the snow. Let us know how the 1500 works in the white stuff. How deep will it read? Just don't use your fingers to dig out the loony's cause you'll lose sensitivity!
Well, anyways, pinpoint all the snow dumps on a map so you can get back at them in the spring.
Just one more thing, major advantage, lots of snow... and... NO MOSQUITOES!!!!!
