My GT is so much better now....

I removed the digi-meter... Now I am just hunting by tone and it is really making a difference. The GT was my first detector and I thought I had to have a meter. I have learned better... and I had to learn it on my own, I would never have believed it, but it's true.

Now, for coin shooting, yes, the meter is great but for a trashy yard with relics and square nails, 200 years of junk and trash... a smaller coil and no meter is the way to go, even the 10" BBS is working better for me by just using my ears.

I was almost ready to sell this machine and now I am beginning to like it again... it is like a multi-tone Tejon.

If your GT is going stale on you try running audio only, I think you'll like what you get
