My good deed for the day

Last night at work, one of our managers had a bad evening.
It was snowing like heck, she got into her car, started it, and then discovered that she couldn't see her side mirror through the snow.

She got out, wiped the snow from the driver's side window, and kinda whipped her hand outwards to sling the snow and water from her fingers. When she did this, she lost two rings from her left hand. Wedding ring, and a silver ring her departed mother had given her.

Bummer, huh?

She said that she could see her wedding band, and she closed the card door to retrieve it.

Which automatically locked!

Now we have a distraught woman, standing in the snow, with both sets of keys locked in a running automobile, which is low on gas.

Plus, one ring is still missing.

$70.00 to the locksmith later, the ring is still missing, in 5 inches of powder snow.

Today I brought my MD into work, and had the pleasure of treasure hunting while on the clock. (I guess that makes me a professional, huh?)

About 40 minutes later, I located the little bugger about 3 parking spaces over from where she was parked. One little ding on it, probably from being run over.

Bad pictures, but happy lady. (Did I mention that she's the boss?) I get my good karma where I can find it.

I would hope she bought your lunch...Or at least some batteries.:clapping:

good deal and maybe ya might get to leave early one day or arrive little late-either way its always good to have boss indebted to ya

The AT4 is a 30 year old Garrett MD designed for beach hunting. It is my GO-TO MD usually. This trip I was using a new teknetics Delta.
I am starting to like the Delta.
