Took my daughter 4wheelin looking for old home places on a large property near here we hunt on. Soon after getting on the ridge she said she saw a chimney in the bottom.

Not 15min. after we broke out the detectors she started jumping up and down..spooked the day lights out of me..thought she got snake bit. She was holding a small metal tin and came running over to me and said it sounded like something inside.

After we opened it up she found 5 wheaties inside. a 57D, 49D,40,44 and a 56.

She just grinned every time I looked at her the rest of the day..I think she's hooked

Those are Kodak moments. Time spent with family, and especially when something exciting is happening is to be treasured. Years from now you can talk about the: "remember when". Nice find !! God Bless !!

That's cool, stories for a lifetime

That is great I hope I can find something like that someday.

What a great find! You go girl!

Sure nice fnd for your daughter! Must have been a child's stash of a few pennies! I remember when I was young, and every time we made a trip back and forth from the city to the country, I would find a penny or a couple of pennies and kept them in a round compact that had a clear lid! Mom, would say, when I found another, how can you find them so fast? Well, I am a shortie and even shorter in those days with much better seeing eyes! Don't remember whatever happened to it....I probably gave it to mom, but just don't remember! I think I had about 7 or 8 pennies by the time we arrived to our destination! :) Congrats on both of you for getting out and enjoying the day together! Good memories will be yours and hers forever! God Bless! Betty

i'll gladly dig nails to see the smile on her face and to spend time with her...they grow up so fast.

Don't they grow. Everytime I look at my sons, who are now 29 and 26, I wonder where the little kids went. When my oldest and I go to races, I say he is my bodyguard. With me being 5'8" and he is something like 6"4", he ain't so little anymore.
