My friends and I had a 'REALE' good Summer ! :wiggle:

During the months of July and August, my friends and I hit a spot on a NJ beach that gave up these. Each pic is from a different day. Along with over 130 of them, we found 2 gold coins ( British Guinea coins dated mid 1700's which I will try to get a better picture of at some point) along with the British 1/2 penny. I think the oldest Reale was 1740...we found a few of them that do not have King Charles the III on it. Will post some close ups of those too.

Holy mackeral!!! You guys had a good summer for sure. Please give us a count of the various Reales, kinda hard to see them. How deep in the sand were they on average.

W O W ...... I guess you guys had a Reale good summer..
Hope you can get some close-ups of the coins and post them.
They do look nice.... congratulations Gold Nuggets :wiggle:

Excellent finds. If you'll share at least some insight one one or more ... Public or private beach area? In cuts after a storm or other favorable conditions? Dry or wet sand or in the water? Other thoughts that may help some of us find one or two similar targets?

Ron,

They were found with several detectors..BHID300 included. We use Whites, Fishers and Minelabs on the beach.
