A colleague of mine who works at the Post Office, decided it was a good idea to metal detect with his girl friend in a ghost town of Berlin Nevada, at 6840 ft. Elevation. He's only been metal detecting for about a year with a Garrett . He and his girlfriend got stuck in the snow. They walked three miles to an abandoned ranger station, broke into it, and survived for 3 days with nothing but the meager canned food in the station. They almost Froze to death....! To make A long story short... The got rescued by pure luck. So what is the moral of this story..?
