My Frankenstein hipmounted Coinmaster 6000/Di S2

Home made hip kit complete! It's pretty darn comfortable too.

A couple heavy duty hose clamps, some #10 ring clips from Home Depot, a couple adjustable straps procured from a laptop bag and a fanny pack and I'm in business.

I was fortunate enough to have a fellow th'er send me an extension cable too, but it was functional without one. Ya just couldn't swing it as far.

The armcup and (part of) the handle is from an old Garrett - which I garbage picked from a box full of parts.

It is super comfortable to swing all day. It is now lighter than most modern detectors - a mere 2.2 pounds.

This is my main relic hunter - as it is by far the deepest seeker I have if ran in GEB/MAX mode. Now she won't dislocate my arm.

One way to keep swinging an older big box White's.
They might be heavy...................sure work good.

Very nice mod and that is one good machine!

Good job!

Hi Mr. Finger! I really appreciate the ingenuity you have shown in your post! This is really cool and is "Jawa Approved'! :spin:! I hope you will use it often and successfully. Please share your stories with us as you create them!

Best Wishes,

Thats very similar to the Savo Whites 8000 HM but this version had the handle removed from the control box and was suspended with the meter to the top and a mirror was hinged just at the bottom of the meter. This would be swung down so that the meter could be viewed without difficulty.
