My first yard hunt with a Minelab - encouraged

I decided to try the SE Pro in a yard here in town. I have hunted it several times with two or three different detectors. It is pretty big and I have dug quite a few coins. I dug the old chunky, cheap bracelet first. I am new to the detector so I dig anything that sounds interesting. My next target was a penny and I couldn't believe how distinctive the sound was to me. I have only been hunting in the fields with the Minelab and coin signals aren't super plentiful. I dug the old fashioned ring in a part of the yard I know I have hit hard. I continued to dig pennies with two being in old hole. The snake ring was a very good sounding target. I didn't know I had dug an Indian till I got home and gave the finds a bath. I am pretty happy with my first yard hunt and can't wait to try some new territory.

Good job Don. Awesome assortment of finds as well. It's hard to go back to pounded parks after you get addicted to yard hunting. JJ
