My first Woods Hibernia Irish Halfpenny (and a ho!)

I went back to the farm again. On the way to a nearby field, I noticed the farm machinery cut deeper into the corner of the field adjacent a nearby cellar hole. I started detecting it immediately. Out popped an olde copper!

It photographs poorly, but I am 90% certain it is a Woods Hibernia Irish Halfpenny (1722-1724).

I wonder what I'll find next at the old farm?

Your Ho's a little rusty. Looks like she's been napping for quite a while. Congrats :beers: on all the colonial finds.

Thanks all.

Yes that hoe was found at the old stage coach stop cellar hole I've been working. It's probably around 200 years old. I should do some electrolysis to get all that rust off.
