Remember that cool little ring I found on Sept 3rd? Heres a shot of the return! This young couple just posted the loss on CL today, and I was ready and waiting for them...I told them next time to post right away! I nearly lost it to the wife with such a great .58 diamond in it! You could see the panic in the sand that morning, how they scratched all around looking for it in the dark...they said they got back in there the very next morning with a detectorist but it was gone! Thats 'cause I was there at 5am! Nice young lady...I'm the baldheaded guy.

I'm also proud to know you from this great forum !!!

Awesome job John. I'm very impressed with how much stuff you are able to return. Glad I was able to personally meet and get to know you a little. Enjoy reading your posts very much!

That sure is nice to read about a return. Just think how bad someone would feel if they lost something. It sure means a lot to that person. I am sure it made you feel good to find the owner of that ring. YOU made someones day. We never met, but I am happy to know you. Great job... KEN :clapping:

Thanks guys, but dont push me, I'm really a pirate at heart! :drinking: Struggle with myself every day I do...and thats just getting my pants on!
Interestingly, everything I am wearing in this photo including the smile was found while out detecting this summer! The Wife brought that to my attention, after all, who would wear checks with solids after Labor Day?

Blessings upon you for making another soul happy Mud!!!

I had to chuckle about the term "balding" Mate!!

That would seem to mean you are making an effort to get bald when as in my case there is little either of us can do make it happen or to stop it!!

GL&HH,
