Hit it again this am..its been a month since my last gold...water flipped from 70 to 55 overnight...walking down the beach looking for cuts, far away from the main swim area up ahead I see a big sculpture built out of driftwood up on the dry...I move up on it and can clearly see where somebody was raking their fingers around in the sand for a lost item...figured it was a cell phone or car keys and then BAM! that wonderful gold signal! I figure I have put 100 miles on myself walking the sand in August...also the first gold off the dry this year...talk about a fresh drop! Appears to be a diamond in it.

[size=large]Congrats on the ring. looks great. excellent for your first white gold. now find one with a ruby, then a emerald then a jade then and then and so on til ya got the whole collection. that'll go well with the diamond.

Mud that's one super nice looking gold diamond ring. I wonder what the diamond is worth? It looks like a nice one.

Hey fellas, thanks for the kind replies..I'm trying to find the owner...it might be tough since theres no inscription or anything to go by, the "diamond" measures 5mm..so it could be 1/2ct or so...I'll take it in to a jewelers to see if its real or not. The wife says its real, and she has a pretty good eye for stuff like this...she saw a "diamond in the rough" in me 35 yrs ago...she did not see all the occlusions until after several years thank goodness!
