My First Week's Finds With My Whites MXT!!!

Hi everyone.

On January 14th I bought the Whites MXT!!!!! The Whites MXT is my third metal detector. With the MXT I am hoping to detect deeper and increase my amount of finds. I got it for a great deal, and it came along with a free Bullseye II Pin Pointer and a pair of headphones. Throughout the week, I tested my MXT out in my yard and I made a few cool finds. I'm loving the MXT so far, but I'm sure I've still got a lot to learn!

Hi RR,like you i recently purchased an mxt after reading all the good reports on this forum. The only regret i have with this machine is the fact that i wish i had purchased one sooner. It does take a little getting used to but once you start learning it more your finds rate will definately increase.I've just purchased an sef 8x6 coil for mine and to be honest i'm stunned with it's performance. This coil has big coil depth coupled with superior seperation qualities in the trash.I went detecting yesterday to a field that is fairly worked out....i use the field as a test area when i buy a new coil to see if it improves a detectors performance in any way.Finds from this field are now quite uncommon but i came back home with over 40 non ferrous items.....non were very exciting but most were small and at good depths. This field is obviously not totally worked out so i will return and hope to find some more exciting finds.I think the mxt with it's fast recovery speed and high sensitivity to small targets coupled with a smaller coil, either the sef 8x6 or whites' own 10x6 is up there with anything on the market today.Awesome detector mr Whites.

I've had mine for about a month and already found a confederate button and a 1858 half dime. I think you will like it. I'm glad to see this forum is growing.

I gotta say great video and i also cant say anything bad about the MXT  it is a great all around unit.

Fantastic! Thanks for the video and congrats on your finds. You're off to a great start of recovering many many wondeful relics and coins. HH, Nancy
