My first visit and post. My first buckle of the year

IBEW Jamie

New member
This is my first buckle I have found this year. I have been out 6 times this year and all I have found is alot of clad, 8 wheats, 2 indians, this buckle and a hole lot of junk. Last year I never dug unless the numbers were good( keep in mind that I just started the hobby last June) this year I'm digging anything that gives a fair repeat no matter what the numbers are. This buckle came in around a 6 34. Thanks for looking!!!!!

Glad to have ya hear. That is one of the most unique buckles I've ever seen posted. Thanks for sharing the picture with us and congratulations.

That's a fine looking (and unique looking) buckle! It would be interesting to know it's origins. Congrats on a great find.

Very nice buckle Jamey I really like it a lot! I am learning that too about the numbers. I hope we can hunt together again sometime.

That's a really nice looking Buckle Jamie !
How old do you think it is ?

Good luck this season ! ---Mark

Were not sure how old the buckle is but it came from a lot that is on the 1886 map. I saw it the other day driving home, called the farmer and got permission to hunt there. Jaime made the only good find last night. I only dug copper and brass scraps for over two hours.....lol

I am the one who talked Jaime into getting an etrac last year, we hunt together as much as possible. Great guy!.....thanks for posting the pic, and glad u joined here, super people here who are always willing to help!

What a cool buckle! I have never seen one like that either, I wonder if it's a one of a kind? Thanks for sharing your hunt and Welcome to the Forum!
