My First SILVER!

Tomorrow will be one week with my E-Trac, and even though I have not been able to hunt nearly as much as I would like, I have made some great finds!! For the past year I have been swinging a Whites DFX300 which has been a great machine. I have found a gold band, two silver rings, some wheaties, and of course enough clad to buy lunch regularly, BUT NO SILVER COINS! As a coin collector this seriously bummed me out, so I finally decided to get an E-Trac as that seems to be the most recommended for silver coins. WOW! what a machine! I have only hunted a total of 4 hours with it and check this out! Not only my first silver, but my first Merc too! I am so excited for my next day off, I am sure I will be posting more finds again!!

Good job. That means that there will be more to come. Take your time with that detector. It is a little tough to learn, but when you do ,, no one in your are will be safe any more. You will clean it all out... KEN

Thanks everyone! Yeah Ken, I have been feeling a bit overwhelmed with the E-Trac, but have been moving very slow with it. For as little surface area as I have hunted, I can't believe I have already uncovered 3 silver though. Can't wait to master it and see what I find!!
