Went out on and off weather allowing after receiving the 3030 for the Holidays..HUGE SURPRISE

We had a really nice day this past Saturday and I finally found my First Silver of 2013 and with the 3030......All In One The First And The First Of The Year!

The 1960 Washington looks some what banged up but I will take it!

It was either me or the lawn mower but still very much appreciated

I included this knife I found at a prior hunt because it was found in an inner city park

Wow! Big silver to boot!

Way to go Eva... love finding silver quarters. I haven't really found that many. Great job!! How do you like your new CTX?

I really enjoy the Quick Recovery and not being worried about the rain

I am still learning and there is So Much to Learn

Have not even approached the GPS, etc

The balance is better but my forearms are getting a work out now instead of my biceps

I had believed that I had gotten Really Good with my ET and then getting the CTX 3030 brought me back to square one..almost

Still It was a Wonderful Surprise

Hello Mike4663

I got the CTX 3030 just as winter started and although I was out with it at previously hunted sites I was not getting much luck

I had gone to an Open Program on the ET before getting the 3030 and felt that was the way to go and believed I was getting targets I would have missed with the Discrimination Programs

And when necessary I used TTF which is great to have when you need it in the right conditions

I am just getting started in getting comfortable with the 3030 and my hope was to start using the open program and I am now and that was when I found the Washington

However, I realistically know you still have to be Over The Target to get the Find!

There are benefits I have posted above that I already appreciate and I can add that it is thrilling being able to distinguish targets next to each other

But it being winter and such I have had few finds and going with my MD partner with the ET is still is not comparison of the Detectors because we go towards different areas so as to not interfere with each other

I also believe it would be Rude for me to Post on the ET Forum my journey with the CTX 3030 and if anyone is interested they can follow in the CTX 3030 Forum.

I still have Great Respect for the ET and it is my Back Up and I would not have it any other way!

Regards and HH

1960... :clapping: That was a good year... The year I was born... :)
