So I found my first silver this week. I decided to check out some old houses. And an old house sight were there use to be a house. At the old house sight I found 2 weat pennies and that silver necklace. At the other old house sight I found what I believe to be is an old button. For its size it is very heavy. I think it might be brass. I stopped at the county fairgrounds and found my first silver coin! That's the 1943 nickel. Next I stopped in old park where I found my first dollar piece. A 2007 George Washington dollar. 2 days later I went to my friends grandpa's house. That's where I found the next two silver coins. In 1941 quarter and a 1937 mercury dime! The next day on the way to work I saw a gentleman mowing his lawn, so I stopped in ask him if I could shoot his yard. I didn't find much just a couple of memorial penneys and then my oldest coin to date, A 1919 weatie! Needless to say I had a good week. At the end of this week I will have had my detector for a month now. I can't wait till it rains and the ground softens up.
