Went to the beach this evening and found 4 pennies, 1 toy truck, and a ring. Looks to be cooper or some cheap metal... but to get my first ring ever is a joy unto itself!! I will try and post a pic tomorrow. Using the DFX in the coin/jewelry and digging everything. Going to try and get a PI and get out in the waves in the future, maybe the "real" stuff is a bit out of reach right now.

Thanks all! I have found a few items and alot of clad since the ring. I am trying to get out every weekend I can for at least a few hours and its good to get the exercise. I will try and post regularly the finds. I get so excited every time I head to the beach now. My wife gets to lay out and sun and I get to do my thing.
