I went to the pond behind the Church that I attend and found a ring not long after starting my hunt. I also found several other things. Some copper things that look like 2 halves of a float, some change, nothing silver, a pair of pliers and some sinkers. I also found several of the old removable pop tops and some mashed up cans. I would love to post some pictures of these but every time I try to upload a pic, the top of my message comes up red saying "you failed to attach any files, please try again." I click on the upload file and get the open message. I click browse and go to the pic in my computer and click on it to highlight it then click upload. The pics are only 2.5 MB so they shouldn't be too big. Am I doing something wrong? I would like to post a pic of my first ring. If I can make it work, I'll have a pic up soon. Thanks.

Sounds like you found some goodies. My wife always makes my pictures smaller for me.

The file can't be any bigger than 420 KB. You might have to go to some photobucket place and resize your pic.

Rings are always a special reward, and Congratulations on the finds.

Before you know it you'll have a second one :))

Happy Hunting

I resize in paint. It's easy.
open pic with paint then image > stretch/skew (I go 50% X 50%) > save as..... (so you still have the original) Then try again.

See if it works, if not let us know
