My First Real Ring

Ok, here is the pic that I said I would post when I figured out how to put pics up here. There is no ingraved area on this ring, but the jeweler said it is silver. I was hunting on the 13th of August on the water edge, about ankle deep, when I got a signal for a quarter. I decided to dig it up, well, you can't dig with much in the sandy water so I used my hand, after so many tries with my hand I almost gave up, then I started fanning the sand out and made one last attempt to retrieve this item, and when I brought my hand up there it was on my finger, I was so excited, I headed over to Gulf Hunter and showed him. He said "Good Job", but I could tell he was envious.

Good find!! Sounds like you need to invest in a sand scoop if you're huntin' the beaches. It will make it MUCH easier to recover your targets.

Well, shortly after that find, Guld Hunter invested in a small scoop for me. I have used it and liked it very much. I jsut wish the sea god would be a bit more giving down here. But that is ok, next summer I will be out there as much as possible and find lots of treasure. LOL HH <img src="/metal/html/lol.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":lol">

Just remember that "any ring is a ring is a ring is a ring is a ring". They are all fun to dig! Thanks for posting.
