Hey folks. I generally hang out on some other forums, but thought I'd pop in and post here.

I love relic hunting but haven't been doing much of it lately since I have been busy digging up hundreds of old coins lately. I'm getting bored of that though, and hope to start digging some old relics again.

Anyhow, I have found many military buttons, musketballs, miniballs, a cannonball, some cap badges, and even a 1880's artillery helmet plate.
Up until today though, the war of 1812 buttons had been avoiding me.

So here it is, my first war of 1812 button...a british royal artillery button.
I hope to have many more 1812 goodies to post here soon!
