My first Platinum ring - and it has 10 nice diamonds in it! :hot: :jump:  Thanks Excalibur! :detecting:

Today Nikolay (The Bulgarian), Skip and I hit South Beach. What a mad house it was! (Gee... some little thing called the "Super Bowl" was going on... maybe that's why it was so busy!) We found a place to park (not easy) and proceeded to hunt in the rain!

Today was only my third day out with my new Excalibur and it has already MORE THAN paid for itself!!!! I found my first Platinum ring. But not JUST a platinum ring... it has ten (10) nice diamonds set into it! Check it out! (I know... I need a better camera!)

Sorry Stacey.. but i'm happy for you..such a great ring!!!!!

Platinum = Awesome! :clap:

You have gone beyond the "normal" experience of new-Excal-hunter luck...usually they just find something as mundane as a GOLD diamond ring.

You've achieved something that has eluded me for about 7 years now. Not that I'm complaining...I know I've done well. But I couldn't even tell you what platinum SOUNDS like on the Excal. Is it nice and LOW? I would suspect that it would have a low growl, similar one of the thin ladies gold rings in my recordings. True?

Anyway, congrats! There will be many more nice finds to come.

Fantastic find.

Was that on the beach or water? (Although it was wet everywhere...)

Pics of South Beach would be nice too. Next time maybe.

Chances are that the other half of the ring is still out there and it should have a big chunk of ice. Perhaps a return visit is in order. If you could find both halves of that lovely ring, it would be truly exceptional.

Good Luck,

BDA:cool:

Please do me a favor please, please!!!!
If you have to go out and drive anyplace today please, please, leave the ring at home or put it in a sealed box and in the back of the car!!
That was a long drive back to West Palm yesterday. Sitting in the back seat having to watch the road as you were driving and staring at the ring on your finger. STOP, STOP RED LIGHT!! TURN HERE, TURN HERE!!:look:

J/K Congratulations on a great find. Hopefully one day I'll find one of those.

I'll be more careful when I'm driving back with my next bling! Promise.

(Actually, next time I'll probably be turning around to stare at YOUR platinum and diamond ring!)

Did you get those wings you were hoping for??? MAN - did you see how much rain they had during the game??? It never stopped!

HH!
