Hi all you relic hunters,
I found this button in the woods around a small hole where supposedly the "man on the hill" lived. He was a hermit so I'm told. Anyway this button was only a few inches deep. I know nothing about buttons so I thought I'd ask all you relic hunters out there what it may be. It's age may help me to determine if the story I was told about the hermit is accurate. He lived out there in the early 1900's. Sorry for the big pic, I'm still learning how to make them fit nice. I have ifranview but don't know how to size or put two pics into one yet. Thanks HH

Ya it looks like some sort of wheat stocks. I thought maybe it was from a womans coat. I looked all over the internet at all the button sites but could not find anything quite like it. It appears to be some sort of alloy that does not rust or corrode. Thanks for the look <img src="/metal/html/smile.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":)">
