My first non clad coin

Only been detecting a few months but finally got my first wheatie using my new M6. Only problem is that it is pitted and disfigured so bad you can barely make out the head and only one wheat marking. But at least it was something other than clad.

Congrats on your first of many older coins. HH, Nancy

Congrats. That's a big day. Wheatie's are good. Keep at it and it'll keep getting better.

OK, Things are starting to pick up. Found a 1946 wheat penny in good condition and then my first silver quarter the next day.

Now just keep adding to the totals.

Congrats, silver coins were made the same time wheaties were, so your next first could be around the corner. Great find and nice detector choice.

Good work, and congrats on getting some silver!
