My first MD: DetectorPro PULSE or AT Pro

I'm heading to the beach in a few weeks, and I hope to buy both machines in the year.
I will make it to the beach maybe twice a year. Which one do I buy now? And do I need both.

Thanks

Well as much as I like my wader. And in my area it works fine in salt water. I would by the AT PRO if that were the only to options.
If you want something light and fun easy to use look hard at the wader.

If all you are going to do is beach hunt, then I would recommend the PI and dig everything.

If you plan on doing some land hunting too on a regular basis, I agree the AT Pro is the way to go.

If this is your first detector and you said that you would go to the beach a couple of times a year then go with the AT Pro. I have not used an AT Pro but I have used PI machines. Good luck with your choice and welcome to a wonderful hobby. If you have any problems you will find plenty of help on this forum.

I ordered him an AT Pro yesterday and it will be here tomorrow. Like I suggested when we come home from the beach a PI machine will be nothing but a headache.
