My First Liberty!

Nice looking merc. Thats an old one to. What x-terra are you using, how deep and what number came up? :super: Tom
Hi Tom,
Thanks for looking and informing me that it's called a Merc, not a Liberty. I used a 705 and it was about 7 inches deep, the TID was jumping between 38-40 but I realized, for some reason, that it was a silver. Still getting used to identifying targets and still dig a lot of trash but am getting better.

Actually called a Winged Liberty Head Dime. So you are correct calling it a Liberty Dime. It is more commonly referred to as a Mercury Dime though. Very nice old Merc, great find, Joe.

Great find! Congrats!

WTG! Only 1 Merc has ever been under my coil (that I'm aware of) and it wasn't as old as your and not as in good condition as yours.

Nice, I was stoked when I got my 1st, and 2nd 3rd to about the 1st half dozen.
