My first Impressions of the GTI 1500............

Big Red

New member
I took it out for a spin this morning..... i managed to get in about 30 minutes. I dug 12 targets.....all 12 came in as a "B Target" .....I got 11 coins and a metal Valve stem cap. I was usin coin mode factory settings. With Belltone.....The detector seemed balanced well....and The 4 lbs didnt seem that heavy. I got 2 coins at 8 inches........3 at 5-6 inches the rest was 2 inches or less. This detector is very easy to use....and in my opinion a fun detector to use. The imaging feature is pretty sweet....along with the belltone. I hope to get out this week for more testing. I was using the new sunray probe as well.... I like this probe, however at this time i believe i like the pocket uniprobe better. But it did the job and that is the important thing.

Sounds like a pretty nice start with the 1500!! I like the fact that you dug 12 targets and 11 were keepers, WTG. Keep us posted on your progress and Happy Hunting!!
