My first hunts with my ACE 250

:detecting: Two ToT lots and our Church Parking Area. :detecting:

I didn't spend a lot of time in the ToT lots as I only had 45 mintues (each). Now the church lot I have sent about 3-4 hrs hunting (2 days). I have only covered about one tenth of the area. All but the quarter, the new nickle and two pennies (and some of the trash) are from the church parking area. :wiggle:

After practicing in my yard for a couple hours I found that the 6.5x9 coil is better for me to learn with. The larger 9x12 coil is much harder to pinpoint.

I just received my ACE 250 last week and really love it. I've found that I prefer the standard coil as well for now.

Nice collection for your first hunts Chuck. As time goes by we expect to see less pop tops and foil and replace it with more coins and rings........:detecting::bouncy: With the variety of slaw and coins you found you should be already getting the feel for what not and what what. But as it's always said.........Dig a target. What you leave behind maybe someone elses treasure.......:yikes:

Yea you should go with the smaller coil for now. The big one has a larger pinpoint area.

Those are some great finds! From the look of the junk your digging some gold is in your future! I almost exclusively us the sniper in tot lots. I think you would be surprised!
