My first Hunt

Well today I finally went to test all the tips you guys have given me for a few weeks. My better half Nicole wanted to go too so we borrowed the neighbors detector a bounty hunter pioneer 500. Rather I should say he don't use it and gave it to her.
We went to a small park here in town and this is our finds. Not only did she out detect me but all she found was coins and no junk lol.
Found one very old button, a hot rod volkswagen, a piece of metal that read silver, and a bunch of clad. total of 9 quarters, 3 dimes, 34 pennys, one button, one car and some junk i didnt add to picture.
Going out with texaspapa to the 1000 acre youth camp in the morning and will share what we find.

 Good quantity of clad.

Thanks guys! It feels great getting that first 2 hours in. Also makes me very happy that she wanted to hunt, and never read a book, watched a video,or read a forum and stll found several coins. Now I have a mate that understands the urge to get out there and hunt.

Nicely done. Save those old cars as you may find a collector for them or sell them on ebay.
Of course that depends on condition when they clean up. You would be surprised at the stuff people will collect.
Just go to a garage sale some time!

Nice going, are you getting the pinpoint down better? Im still learning new stuff about my 250. incredable machine.

yeah cayenne all the tips from the guys here really helped. i don't have it down to a perfect science yet,but it's better than what it was.
if I could find 5 bucks every 2 hours like I did today maybe I could afford to die someday lol

Well pard cmon on down here. plenty for all of us. I think these texans are too busy chasing cowgirls to go detecting. :poke:

Great Job! Keep it up and good luck hunting.

Great first hunt!!!! Many more to come!!!!!

what really makes this sweet is that isn't much money, but a few club members hunt this park regularly and missed these. you can tell they didnt fall in the ground yesterday lol. So this forum gave me a leg up when I did get out, and this is so sweettttttttt !
By the way i have a sniper coil in the mail and should be here friday. :drinking:

The depth on that little coil will amaze you. Charles Garrett had his thinking cap on when he came up with this little jewel.
