wow, 2 Barbers in Jan. That's a great day for the middle of winter. I know, it's a lot nicer down your way...

I should be able to get out in another 40-50 days or so? Won't be too awful long I hope? Got a new used WOT I'm itching to try out on some of my hunted out areas........

My first Hunt with the WOT was at a place that I used the standard Pro coil
over first...I used a string and grid searched the area with the pro coil very
thoroughly...Went back over it with the WOT and picked up a 1923 Merc
that I missed with the Pro coil....The Merc wasn't any deeper than the other
coins I dug with the pro coil but some how I still missed it....I like the WOT
I used it on this hunt along with the X-1 and had no problems....I noticed if the
coin was flat in the whole it would pinpoint great! Those two Barber dimes I dug
were off to the left after digging, so I wonder if they were on edge!...My sunray X-1
sniffed it out though...Thats what I like about the X-1....easy to locate a silver coin
in a hole with multiple targets

A great bunch of finds indeed !

Duggr, you can bet they were on edge............almost all the deep coins I've dug in "hunted out" places have been on edge. The E-Trac is the best machine I've used to get coins on edge!!
