My First Gold

Crocket

New member
I finally broke the ice and found my first gold ring. And it sure felt good. Found three other ring since a got my MD this past April but all were gold platted or junk. I almost filled the hole in and past it by. The numbers were all over the place from 6 to 8 - 18 to 20 I scanned the hole one more time and it lock in on 20, moved some more dirt and there it was. 14k Gold ring was 5.4 penny wt. I found this on the sideline of a soccer field.

That would be about 8.4 grams...a nice heavy one... Congrats!!

Any gold found is always a thrill to find, as it also was for my first gold. Well done! It's a beauty

I'm a seller. I am going to wait for gold to jump up a little more.....

Well first of all I believe it a kids ring, very small. If I was in the position I would differently keep it. But starting to get pretty cold here in NY and w/ the price of heating oil as soon as gold jumps up a bit its gone. Oh ya plus the fact that I told my wife I was going to make money w/ this investment X-Terra 70 its best to let it go in the oil tank. LOL thanks for looking.
