My first gold with the Excal

Greetings from the U.K. Would just like to say what a great forum this is and what a wealth of knowledge you guys have:clapping:

Purchased a secondhand Excal 1000 last month and found my 1st gold ring with it on my 3rd outing over the Easter holidays. Ring is 22 carat gold.

Worked the low waterline in all metal and double checked signals in discrim.

The UK beaches are not as productive as the USA but i think i am going to like this detector:biggrin:

All the very best - Dave:ukflag:

Beautiful color on that ring Dave. That beach seems productive enough! HH!

Nice way to break in a new detector!

with time and a little sound learning curve, that wont be your last gold by far with the Excal. Really nice ring, Gene

now thats a ring 22k ?? wow
good luck on many more
