WoW..Welcome to the forum,Nice way to start out your first posting...Great find!!!.......Give us the details,we generally like a little more info to satisfy our curiosity!!...What detector?,how many K?,weight?,Been MDing long?found...Beach,park,yard????...Hope to see more..GL

So this ring rang up as a classic nickel signal; which on my White's MXT Pro was 18-20 VDI. I had out in about 20 hours in this area (Usually 3-4 hours at a time). It was in the grass strip between the road and a chain link fence that borders a school playground (Also near a park). Really didn't expect a ring in this area, but there it was!

I'm not sure about the size, I dont have a scale. I've been MDing for about 2-3 years (But took a lengthy break due to tennis elbow haha). I recently decided to dig more trash in search of the elusive gold ring. I don't think the area I have been hunting has been hit too much because of the amount of clad I have pulled out of there. Multiple coins spills and lots of targets 4-6 inches. Of course here in Albany Oregon 4-6 inches equals 10-20 years; so not much age to anyting I've been finding.. The rings was about 3-4 inches and probably hadn't been in the ground long.

That is an outstanding find. Congratulations. I am still looking for my first gold ring. I have found some silver ones but gold has eluded me so far.

nice find bro, gold usually comes in streaks i would not be suprised if you find another one in the next week or so good luck hh
