I found this mini gold coin set in a bezel in the dry sand about two weeks ago. I tried to, but couldn't, find the chain that this came off of...

Here is the front. Next I'll submit the back...

This coin is very small. About the size of an eraser and it is not marked, but absolutely looks to be 18k to 22k. Any thoughts are appreciated.

That's really nice!
Yea..sometimes the chain is well separated from the pendant. horse play or just the general direction that gold will take.
I have very rarely found the thin chain but its rare.
Very nice recovery there.
