my first gold coin.CZ6a

thought you all might like to see the gold coin i found with my Fisher CZ6a.
thought it was just more lead then saw the edge of a gold coin.
been taking my camera with me for a while now so took these as it came out of the ground.
for those who don't dig the mid tones,here is what you might be leaving behind.

it's a George 111 Guinea 1788
my first gold coin in 26 yrs of detecting

i live in Liverpool in the uk.
it's nowhere near as old as some places,there wasn't any romans where i live which is sad for me because i would love to find some roman stuff.
here is the field that i found the gold coin on.

there are 7 more fields around it the same size as this one.
the church you can see over the trees was built in 1170.

back of a silver pocket watch case and a silver thimble

big piece of silver something? has a bit of glass in it that looks broken so i'm thinking it was the base of a vase possably.
the hallmark must have been on the missing bit at the bottom which is a shame but it looks older than victorian.
it also has a crest on it,a figure holdind an arrow in each hand.

the bottom one is from sweden and is a 25 ore dated 1898.

there are winter crops on all the fields now so i'll have to wait and see what turns up next year.
