Wow!!! That is outstanding!!! Congratulations!!!!!! I think you have joined a special group. There are only a few that have found a gold coin and probably even fewer that have found and 8 Real cob and you have 2 of them. All that plus indians and buffs and ...... I am impressed.

I found one just like it that was mounted on a ring, It had the same date but it said California or Calif or something like that on it. I put the thing away somewhere and never found it again. I have moved a half dozen times since so it is gone.

It was a little bitty thing and I wondered if it was a real coin. When I was cleaning the ring it came off and I still have the ring somewhere but no coin. I guess that means I sorta found a gold ring or it means I am an idiot
