My first Florida beach and salt water hunt

I made my first Florida beach and salt water treasure hunt today. Found the usual junk (bottle caps, tabs, and cans along with a few nails), but when I hit the water I found these coins and the corroded piece of metal with a gold in color cross on it (see pic). The gold cross is in good shape compared to the metal condition, not sure what it is or where it came from, but the first time in the salt water with the Infinium was a great training session.....now to find that elusive ring, bracelet, or chain.......or all of the above!!!!

After looking a bit harder at the piece of metal with what looked like a cross on it, it appears to be a mailbox stick on letter "T" don't know why the letter is lasting longer than the metal.....but it was still a fun day regardless of the value of this piece or origin!!!!
