My First Finds with my Exal 1000

Wisconsin Pete

New member
Been Home sick the past couple of day's with flu / lung infection...and today was the first day I felt well enough to at least try to get outsice...Got tired of my New Excal staring at me and sending messages to my head..."let go out and swing, take me out and swing me"...well I conger ed up enough strength to go out in the back yard to see what I could find...but first I had to throw some coins and a couple gold rings of my wife's (she's asleep, she didn't hear me in the bedroom) and a sterling silver ring I found 2 years ago. Boy when this thing hits a target it really "barks at you"! And over the Gold ring the tone to me sounded like "dig me dig me" everytime I passed over it. None the less these are the two meager finds that I could pull out of my back yard, nothing exciting but none the lest my first finds with the Excal 1000. Though I do find it harder to pinpoint with this machine...anyone have any tips on how this is done...by the way I was outside for 20 minutes before my lungs couldn't do it anymore...

It's gunna be great in the water. Just scan over the target, with an X. Dig where the signal is strongest. You'll get used to it. I like pinpointing on the Excal better than all the rest. It's right in the middle of the X. This is gunna be great! GH
