Well I got my AT Pro yesterday. I almost didn't get it. I was at home but didn't hear UPS come to my door. Checked and found a note that said tried to deliver but needed signature. I knew that but I don't know how the hell I missed him. So I hop in the car (I live in a fairly small town and thought I would look for him. They are usually 3 truck around for this area. Well as I was driving my tire was low so I pulled into a Casye's store to air it up. I was mad at the world now anyway because I didn't think I would get the at pro today. After I got the tire aired up i look over and a UPS truck just pulled up and stopped along the street. The driver got out and headed towards the store to probably get something to drink. I walked over to him and asked if he had a package for me. I told him my name and address and he went to look. Sure enough he had it. THANK YOU GOD!!!. I had stuff I had to do at that time so last night I got it together and got it ready for my hunt I was going to do this morning.
Well I went to this ball park that I went to 3 or so times with my Ace. This is the same one I found my first and only silver coin. All the ball games are done there now for the season so I thought I would do it for the final time this year. I started out in Pro mode zero right off. First find a bottle cap. Imagine that. Then I found a dime. Ok that is better. From then on it was a matter of me just slowing down so I could hear the high tones. It recovers so fast that it can be easy to miss the high tones on pro mode. I tried standard mode a little bit but it was basically like my Ace 250. So I stayed on Pro mode. Below is a pic of the clad that I found. No silver today but I did pretty well considering I hit this area a few times already this year. I did dig a lot more trash with the AT Pro then the Ace but I still got a lot to learn on this thing. So far I really like it. Worn out though....it is a little bit heavier then The Ace and I hunted for about 4 hours.
